"Bushnell Tour V2 Laser Rangefinder"

The Bushnell Tour V2 laser rangefinder has proven to be very popular with golfers and it has several features that make it desirable.

It has vertically mounted optics which means that it is easily held in one hand proving to be a benefit when out on the golf course. The shape of the Tour V2 does make it easy to hold as well and with tacky grips it does feel more secure in the hand.

The Best Feature Of The Bushnell Tour V2

Obviously the use of the rangefinder is to get accurate readings while playing golf and the best feature of the Bushnell Tour V2 is that it has an easy to read information display. The distance read-out appears in the center of the viewfinder directly below the aiming circle, and both the “mode” and “yards/meters” indicators are positioned in the lower portion of the viewfinder.

Applauded also is the fact that the black LCD distance read-out is in the bottom of the viewfinder and easily readable against the lighter color of the putting green.

The Bushnell Tour V2 has a 5x magnification and this does the job perfectly, along with the adjustable eyepiece.

Another feature of this rangefinder is the “PinSeeker” which is covered more fully on this page.

The lid of the rangefinder can be pressed shut with a magnetic latch which gives ease of use and knowledge that the job is done properly. It also allows quick one handed access for use. The product comes with a carry pouch which is well designed.

It is however waterproof and this is a huge positive in that it is during the rain that distances are so hard to define and the Bushnell Tour V2 comes into its own.

One point that should be noted, although not proving to be a negative with users, is the fact that it is not the smallest or lightest rangefinder on the market, but in saying that it does seem to be in the average weight and size range.
